I like this photo a lot. It looks like a close knit family, but meihui and weicheng are not in here. =( Oh well, but still, kudos to odac west and guests =) Today is a successful bbq at my house!

Though it rained initially, but it reminded us of our expeditions and what's odac without some nature elements? Haha. Anyways kudos to yihang and loh in setting up a great fire with just some fire starters! A great achievement and this is the first bbq with friends where there are not much leftovers. Woosh~~ It feels cool to catch up with them again.. every few weeks or months.

After some of them left for their own activities like booking in and home, the few people who stayed later talked about some stuff which makes me think again. Most of us seems to tone down as we get older, become more mature, or should I say as compared to the time when we are in aj, the contrast is quite big. From a super hyper energized individual to a lazy, more willing to sit in one place and chill self. Sighs, time passes and there are a lot of changes to the thinking, the personality... oh well... we are still we....

Seriously, time and distance may cause awkwardness to a clique. The first step is always the most difficult to implement, yet I feel that there must be someone to initiate in the clique or its a goner, given time. Of course, the other members must also be willing to sacrifice their time and make the effort to meet up or no matter how much someone organised, it will still be a failure. Simply, it takes two hands to clap. Lucky odac west is still quite tight and there is still no awkward silence and I hope it stayed this way no matter how many years has passed.

Personally, I came to a conclusion that there is no use fretting over lost friendship as the cause for failure would be due to reluctant to meet up or reluctance to organise. Basically, it is when one party feel reluctance to meet up that would result in this, or that they are just friends for that period of time. Events that a certain clique undergoes would also help in determining the strength of the bonds. Well, simply to put, there are always friends for life and friends for a period of time. Come what may, time will reveal the strength of bonds and friendship would always undergo this test of time, where the success rate is only perhaps 25%. Woosh!
